Since we launched in 2017 we have been lucky enough to work with some of the UK’s most interesting and innovative organisations.

From analysing international creative clusters; to leading the establishment of Create Central a new screen sector trade-body; and supporting one of the UK’s biggest global cultural brands, The British Museum.

Our portfolio of work gives a flavour of what we can do for you and your organisation.

Thames Estuary Production Corridor

The Thames Estuary Production Corridor is an ambitious project to ensure the estuary becomes the UK’s largest and most significant concentration of creative production.

Zanna Creative worked with a team led by We Made That and  Hawkins\Brown to deliver the shared vision of the Mayor of London, the South East LEP and partners in East London, South Essex and North Kent, and is supported by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

The Thames Estuary Production Corridor will play a crucial role in London and the South East’s recovery, economically and socially, after COVID-19, potentially creating 50,000 jobs and generating £3.7bn for the UK economy.

Create Central

Create Central is the new trade-body for the creative content sector in the West Midlands.

Zanna Creative has been the lead agency on all aspects of Create Central development - from the initial concept through to delivery.

Zanna Creative undertook a major national and regional consultation, engaged industry, oversaw recruitment of Members, established a public sector consortium, developed a Creative Content Growth Plan 2020-2022 and led a successful £2m bid to British Film Institute's National Cluster Growth Fund.

Zanna Creative is now providing Executive Leadership to Create Central, overseeing a £multi-million Programme of Activities and managing a team of consultants to deliver
these ambitious plans.

BFI Film Audience Network

Evaluation

Zanna Creative joined Indigo consultancy to evaluate the BFI’s FAN - looking at audience statistics gathered by the BFI from five years of the Film Audience Network, as well as undertaking interviews with regional Film Hubs and FAN member organisations to tell the story of the Network's impact since 2018 and make recommendations for its next iteration.

VIEW REPORT

Lighthouse in Scotland

Creative Scotland

Zanna Creative worked with Tom Fleming Creative Consultancy to undertake a review of Creative Scotland's approach to the creative economy - Re-Think: The Creative Economy of Scotland.

Based on engagement with the Creative Scotland team and partners in the public and private sector, we will identify core priorities, tools and approaches for creative economy development.

This will unpack how state-supported practice co-exists with commercial practice, scrutinising the hybrid reality of creative work. It will identify key focus areas for Creative Scotland, working alongside other agencies.

The outcome will be an options report for the Creative Scotland Board. This will set out priorities for investment and development from 2022.

International Creative Clusters

Zanna Creative was commissioned to identify and analyse various creative clusters around the world to establish the factors contributing to their success in order to provide evidence and ideas for the continued growth of UK-based creative clusters.

The report, funded through BFI, analysed five creative clusters around the world that are at various stages in development against a range of cultural, economic, social and political backdrops; Abu Dhabi, Bangalore, Berlin, Mexico City and Ontario.
